About the President:

I Chief Patrick Sarrazin would like to take the opportunity to apologize for the lack of updates and communicating efforts regarding LINNA, We had suffered several misfortunate condition relayed to our office staffing and family members along with several supporting members moved on to different carriers . The official League Of Indian Nation Of North America

The Official League of Indian Nation Of North America has been working with several Nation’s within the Americas under the Constitution set our by our forefathers :

Patrick J. Sarrazin is proud to have been chosen to represent the Indigenous people within the Americas with Sent. Viktor Busà.

Born in Mattawa 1962

I have spent the past 38 years working in the Construction and Pipelines and Oil Fields within Canada and reside in North Bay, Ontario , Canada.

I was nominated to lead the people in a direction that helps all North American Indians as my late Grand Father: John McConnell and my Late Grand Mother: Philemon Lamere was a cousin to the late William Commanda Hereditary Grand Chief: and elected to be in the early 1900 as the Algonquin Chief, who has resided in the Golder Lake territory and proud to be part Algonquin Of Pixwakanagan First Nation Community

I am a trapper as my late Grand Father John McConnell and my father Paul Sarrazin It was left to me by my father and grand father and today I continue to trap and hunt and live off the land. Hunting is in my blood – it is not a sport, it is my INHERENT RIGHT.

Quotations

“A true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. They are much like eagles – they don’t flock, you find them one at a time.”

“Integrity does not blow in the wind or change with the tide. It is the inner image of our true self.”

“Faith is the strength by which a shattered world shall emerge in light.”

“Always laugh when you can; it is cheap medicine.”

“I am a man with a vision; an old man once said if you are not making mistakes than you are not doing anything.”

“To do nothing with you life for your people is a big loss; to do something – it is everything.”

Standing Chief Patrick Sarrazin lets speak with one vision, one voice and one mission:

I would like to commit on the fathers before us and their inherent rights; that today they are still protected in the Royal Proclamation of 1763 and in the Charter of Rights of 1982.

I would like to say that with the ever changing vision – every 4 years- from the Governments within North America, there is one thing on their side; money. With that money they continue to buy power and to influence nations, which only work harder to divide their own people, white or black. We are the poorest people and the fastest growing population with only approximately 400,000 between 2001 and 2006, with a faster immigration rate at 1.2 million in the last five years.

I would like to ask for your hands, vision and guidance for the future in uniting our people in Canada, North America and around the world, and to bring back what we are losing by uniting our people and overcoming obstacles within the Indian Act in Canada.

Press on; nothing in the world can take the place of perseverance. Talent will not – nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not – unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not – the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are important.

I continue to work and push beyond my potential and fight to see my people first and foremost with a smile of joy when we are all standing together.

Yours in Indian Unity,

President and Standing Chief,

Patrick J Sarrazin.

                                                  DATED JUNE 18,2009

In our daily lives we encounter all kinds of problems, obstacles and people. The outcome of all these encounters are always determined by our own attitudes tone them positive will nearly always bring about a positive result, while a negative approach will always create a negative result.

Note psychologist Karl Menninger observed. Attitude is more important than the facts. Many people fail to understand this very simple observation. The facts of a circumstance are secondary to the attitude of a person in achieving a successful outcome. If this was not the case and the facts were most important then there would be no progress in our lives, we would still live in prehistoric environment. The next time you hear someone say, “That it can’t be done, we tried it once, they tried it and others have tried, you might as well not bother” remember it was the attitude that defeat them. Thomas Jefferson is quoted as saying, “Nothing can stop a man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.”

Columbus was told he couldn’t sail around the world.

The Wright Brothers were told they were not meant to fly.

Roger Bannister was told that it was impossible to break the four minute mile.

Ford was told that the Human body would not withstand the force of traveling 50 miles per hour. Human history and achievement is recurrent with those who believe they could do it, and proved it.

What is the League of Indian Nations?

Registration by the League is not a membership in an organization. Your card does not create any new rights or grant status as an “Indian” in terms of the Indian Act. As a person of aboriginal descent, you already have aboriginal rights beyond those outlined in the Indian Act.

It is all our responsibility to act out of that knowledge, inspire each other’s spiritual strength, and to unite in the struggle towards a greater future for our generations. We urge you to strengthen your involvement in whatever band, nation or organization in which you express your Indian or aboriginal affiliations… The League will assist you.

Our self-government has never been compromised. Since 1991 with the discussion on the Canadian Constitution and Indian unity, we have re-established the League as a resource and voice for our people. In registering with the League, you are a direct part in our nation’s struggles.

Among your benefits are:

1. A permanent card which ID’s you as a North American Indian. Across North America, we find League cards over 50 years old…the League is a living tradition.

2. Your ID will be registered in our national center computer database, and, eventually entered onto an international membership database with other native nations and world governments. Your children may receive an Aboriginal Birth Certificate and registration also.

3. You have a formal statement of your Aboriginal (and Treaty) Rights, respected and enforced by governments.

4. Your registration supports:

  • Legal research and actions to support OUR rights
  • Production of materials on Indian issues
  • Community based economic development
  • Local and Treaty support councils
  • Spiritual and technical support to all Indian programs and organizations

We welcome you to the League and enlist your support.

In Indian Unity.

Du Président :

Patrick J. Sarrazin

Patrick J Sarrazin.
